Changed O2 Sensor Light Still On

Changed O2 Sensor Light Still On. I was hoping this would make my engine light go off. Sorry for miscommunicating my problem.

Idk, it can't really hurt to try clearing it again if your o2 code is still coming up. Let us know how your test goes and if you had to replace the oxygen sensor on the catalytic converter. Anyway, 02 sensor is in.

If It Is Not Within Spec Replace The Sensor.

Your oxygen sensor may have been replaced by the technician , but your spark plugs need to be replaced as well. I checked twice to be sure it was the o2 sensor at 2 different auto parts stores and it was confirmed. This can happen if you have a bad catalytic converter:

If The Mechanic Completed The O2 Sensor Replacement, Reset The Codes And The Error Code Was Triggered Again, It Is Possible That The Catalytic Converter Is Damaged And Needs To Be Replaced.

It blows junk down the exhaust and damages the sensor, even a brand new one. I was hoping this would make my engine light go off. The check engine light could be caused by more than one problem.

Which Was Bank 1 Sensor 1.

This is a common type of question. And as stated earlier depends on your emissions rating, pins number three or number number will be the power supply. No other obvious symptoms & all coils currently.

Car Runs Fine With New Sensor But This Damn Light Will Not Go Out!

So i disconnected my negative to my battery and replaced the sensor. The oxygen sensor was replaced, 'check engine' light is still. I left the negative cable off the battery overnight, but the check engine light is still on.

The Oxygen Sensor Was Replaced, 'Check Engine' Light Is Still On.

Now you can test your o2 sensors, the downstream ones are the easiest to test. Replaced the oxygen (lambda) sensor in my 2003 1.4 16v renault clio (probably) due to dodgy fuel damage but the 'toxic fuel warning light' is still showing on my dashboard. Both p0133 and p0130 would indicate most likely a bad o2 sensor, although a wiring issue isn't impossible.
